Mulambo wants to facilitate a network & forum for spiritually, ecologically & socially engaged individuals & groups working as a force for positive change rather than purely monetary profit.

The Mulambo Network is about providing a space for the sharing of ideas, skills, information, enthusiasm, experience. Working together can achieve more!

Mulambo just facilitates this space, it’s up to you to bring the network and forum alive. One request. Please keep it clean, keep it calm, keep it positive.

1. Burma Awareness Project Says:

   We aim to raise awareness about the situation in Burma and fundraise for Burmese projects while celebrating the rich diversity of culture that Burma has. We support women’s cooperatives through selling beautiful fair trade crafts produced by women from various ethnic minority groups of Burma, who are living in refugee camps along the Thai-Burma border. We are also raising funds to support a project affiliated with the Women’s League of Burma which aims to take supplies of clothes and school materials to internally displaced camps inside Karen state(Eastern Burma). Our stall also provides information about various campaigns for democracy and human rights run by Burma Campaign UK (see link above) and other organisations, and how you can get involved, for example by sending your pants to the Burmese junta as part of the Panties for Peace campaign!
   We will have a stall at the next Mulambo so we look forward to seeing you there for an amazing night!
